Ram Kishor brings over 15 years of hospitality and foodservice experience as the CEO of Tokri and Riya Foods Ltd catering. Inspired to disrupt the industry, he created Tokri to deliver unforgettable dining moments.
Having grown up immersed in his family's farming and foodservice business, Ram gathered nurturing yet tasteful characteristics from his parents. These experiences instilled in him a strength of character and desire to create a warm, inviting restaurant where people enjoy themselves.
With his extensive industry background and passion for hospitality, Ram leads Tokri in delivering one-of-a-kind dining experiences.
Chef Nand Kishor Semwal developed a passion for food growing up in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand. He left his hometown to pursue cooking in Mumbai, attending culinary school and honing his skills. Nand landed his first major role at the Holiday Inn in Juhu.
Nand's talent attracted renowned restaurateurs who brought him abroad to Trishna. His extraordinary international career began as Trishna earned a Michelin star with his skills. Nand then became Head Chef at acclaimed Gymkhana and collaborated to earn another Michelin star.
Despite his success, Nand sought new challenges to showcase his creativity. He ventured out to open the first branch of Dastaan, earning a Bib Gourmand award for its authentic cuisine.
Today, Nand is a globally recognized culinary expert. His relentless pursuit of perfection has taken him from the mountains to international kitchens. With each dish, Nand shares flavors of his homeland, leaving a global culinary mark.
Salil Bhatia is the General Manager of Tokri Restaurant. He was born in New Delhi, India and studied Hotel Management and Catering Technology at institutes in New Delhi and Chennai. Salil worked for Air India's five-star Centaur Hotel in Mumbai, managing restaurants and banquets.
In 1988, he moved to London to join the famous Indian restaurant Gaylord as a manager. He was promoted to General Manager in 1993 and Director in 1996. After resigning in 2010, Salil started his own venture called Indian Seasoning Restaurant and Catering.
During his time at Gaylord, Salil catered prestigious events like Diwali celebrations at 10 Downing Street, the Speaker's Apartment at the House of Commons, and Lord Paul's annual zoo event. He also catered international events in Portugal, Italy and Croatia.
